Garlic – Allium sativa

Garlic is a pungent warming expectorant herb. May ward off or clear bacterial infections or prevent infection, lower fever, reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels (glucose metabolism in diabetes) and slow the development of arteriosclerosios. May also be used for: Colds and flu’ Bronchitis Whooping cough Gastroenteritis dysentery Externally, garlic may help with skin infections like acne and fungal infections. Other: Garlic enhances the flavour of most meats, seafood and many vegetables and can be added as a condiment in butter, oil, vinegar and salt.
