Ashwaganda – Withania somnifera

Ashwaganda is also called "Indian Ginseng". Ashwaganda is a bitter-sweet astringent herb with adaptogenic properties. Ashwaganda acts on the reproductive system - impotence and fertility. May also increase testosterone levels in men. It may enhance physical performance, including strength and oxygen use during exercise. It helps the cognitive function and memory nervous system with insomnia and nervous exhoustion. Ashwaganda also helps with epilepsy, joint- nerve- and rheumatic pains and may reduce blood sugar levels.
